We’re partnering with Babbel to give chauffeurs more language support!


We are as invested in our chauffeurs’ success as they are, and we want to help them to provide the best possible service. That’s why we’ve started these initiatives to support the people who are the foundation of what we do, our chauffeurs.

What elevates the experience of a chauffeured ride is the personal touch, which means communication skills are vital. With chauffeurs in over 50 countries worldwide, it’s important to us to support our chauffeurs who are speaking English as a second language.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Babbel to offer chauffeurs a special deal on their subscription language-learning service! We’re offering one free mini-lesson focussed on terms that will useful during rides, plus a deal in the style of a buy-one-get-one-free, but even better. Chauffeurs have the option to buy one month and get one free, buy three months and get three free, or buy six months and get an additional six months free! To take advantage of this offer chauffeurs should refer to the email we sent announcing the partnership or contact their Affiliate Manager.

But our partnership with Babbel isn’t the only way we encourage and reward our chauffeurs’ professional development.

Here are some of the other ways we support our chauffeurs:

1. We also have language cheat-sheets with phrases that are commonly used when conducting rides for French and German speakers, with versions in more languages to come.

2. Based on several key performance indicators, our chauffeurs have the opportunity to earn up to 10% more of their monthly income as a bonus. If they achieve this bonus for multiple months in a row, they will automatically qualify for the Partner Prestige Club, and if they keep up the same great work for an entire year, their bonus will double!

3. One high-performing chauffeur is selected to be our “Driver of the Month”, and they are featured on our blog and social media, alongside two examples of positive feedback they’ve received from their passengers. Here we highlight the chauffeurs who consistently go the extra mile.

4. To help our chauffeurs bolster their fleets, we offered our chauffeur partners in Germany a special deal with Mercedes-Benz if they wanted to purchase a V-Class to be able to supply rides in our Business Van/SUV vehicle class. As we get closer to launching a Green Class of electric vehicles, we have also hosted events with Tesla in Berlin and London for chauffeurs to get familiar with the costs and benefits of going green.
