Yes! One of the benefits of booking by the hour is flexibility. You can adjust your itinerary on the day of the ride.
When will I receive the chauffeur's contact information?
When will I receive the chauffeur's contact information?
The chauffeur’s name and telephone number will be sent to the passenger one hour before pickup via email and SMS. This message also contains the make, model and license plate number of the vehicle. If you booked for someone else, this information will be sent to the email address and phone number provided in the booking process.
Your chauffeur will remain at your disposal and coordinate with you to ensure a smooth pick-up, even in crowded areas.

Yes, your hourly ride can begin or end at an airport - or anywhere else you choose! Just keep in mind that hourly services must start and end in the same city. If your hourly ride finishes outside the pickup city, additional distance and time is charged for the chauffeur’s return journey.

Our by-the-hour service is designed for journeys with multiple stops within the same city. This service includes 40 kilometers of travel per booked hour. If the ride ends outside the starting city, additional charges will apply for the chauffeur’s return journey, covering both distance and time.
If you plan to travel between cities, we recommend booking a city-to-city ride instead.

Yes, you can edit your booking before it starts via our app or website.
If your booking has already started and you want to extend, please let the chauffeur know and they will confirm with Blacklane. If the chauffeur is available, your account will be charged the additional time after the booking is finished.
What if the number of booked hours I need changes and the booking is unexpectedly extended or shortened?

We understand that unexpected events can happen.
If the number of booked hours is extended, extra time is charged in half hour increments. If the number of booked hours is shortened, unfortunately, no reimbursement applies. Please see section 5.2 of our T&C’s.

Yes, this is possible. Please select the Business Van/SUV vehicle class and add the required child seat in the “Notes for the chauffeur” field. We will do our best to organize a child seat ahead of time.
