Blacklane and Miracle Flights Celebrate Their 1,500th Completed Ride

The Global Chauffeur Service and Non-Profit Commemorate by Surprising A 6-Year-Old & Her Family With A Trip To Disneyland

LOS ANGELES – September 5, 2023 – Yesterday, Blacklane, the leading global chauffeur service celebrated their 1,500th completed ride with Miracle Flights, a national charitable organization that provides free commercial airline flights to children in need of life-changing medical care far from home. Since 2019, the two companies have worked together to provide free chauffeured rides each month to the children and their families traveling for critical medical treatment across the United States, not even suspended during the difficult Covid years.

To celebrate the significant milestone, Co-Founder and CEO of Blacklane, Jens Wohltorf and CEO of Miracle Flights, Mark E. Brown surprised 6-year-old Harris at LAX today with a VIP trip to Disneyland for her and her family. Wohltorf flew in from Berlin to personally chauffeur Harris and her family in a Blacklane limousine from LAX to Disneyland. The two teams greeted Harris and her family at the airport with balloons, gifts and a visit from Miles the Bear, Miracle Flights' lovable mascot.

Six-year-old Harris' medical journey began when she was just nine months old and diagnosed with multiple anaphylactic food allergies. At 18 months old, Harris was allergic to five different food groups and unable to lead the life of a “typical” toddler. Since the age of three, Harris and her family have flown every 8-12 weeks from their home in Nashville, Indiana to the Allergy Institute in Newport Beach, California for Harris’ treatment. To date, all 20 of her flights to distant life-changing medical treatment have been provided at no cost by Miracle Flights. Today, Blacklane is proud to be able to provide Harris and her family the ultimate experience by picking her and her family up from the airport for an unforgettable experience at Disneyland.
