JFK Lounges for Every Terminal: A 2026 Guide

If you’re traveling out of Manhattan or just passing through New York, chances are you’ll end up in John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). It’s New York City’s biggest airport, and one of the busiest in the country with over 60 million passengers each year. 

JFK can be stressful, but don’t worry: it’s home to over two dozen lounges if you need some time to yourself. If you’re feeling a little lost, get acquainted with the many spots on offer in this guide to JFK airport lounges.

JFK Terminal 1 Lounges

Air France Lounge

Location: Next to Gate 1 Access: Priority Pass members, eligible premium flyers, and select credit card holders; one-day passes may be available through Air France Hours: 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM

The Air France Lounge at JFK Terminal 1 is spread over two floors with floor-to-ceiling windows for a view onto the runway. You’ll find everything you need here, including buffet-style dining options, a self-serve bar, wifi, and a Clarins spa area. Specific offers vary, so be sure to check the airline’s website for daily updates before you travel.

Lufthansa Lounge

Location: Immediately after TSA checkpoint Access: Priority Pass members, Star Alliance members, eligible premium flyers, and select credit card holders; one-day passes may be available through Lufthansa

The Lufthansa Lounge at JFK Terminal 1 is an oasis tucked away just past the security checkpoint as you enter Terminal 1. You’ll find plenty of options for food and drinks, as well as comfortable chairs for a moment of peace before the next leg of your journey. There are a few work stations and showers as well.

Some exclusive services are reserved for First Class, HON Circle Members, and Senators. For a full overview of what is currently available, be sure to check the lounge website.

Primeclass Lounge

Location: Near Gate 10 Access: Priority Pass members and select credit card holders; one-day passes may be available Hours: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday); 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Tuesday, Friday)

Primeclass Lounge at JFK Terminal 1 is a solid option for a relaxing stay in transit. There are some restrictions on admission, including limiting access to flyers travelling internationally and guests over the age of 18. Check the current rules before traveling.

VIP ONE Lounge

​​Location: Near the TSA checkpoint, between rows E and F Access: Priority Pass members and select credit card holders; one-day passes may be available Hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 AM

If you’re looking for a particularly convenient experience, try the VIP ONE Lounge. While the lounge does not offer as many amenities as the other JFK Terminal 1 lounges, it serves international flights, and can be accessed through a fast-track security line to avoid the crowds. Turkish Airlines Lounge

​​Location: Between Gates 2 and 3 Access: Priority Pass members, eligible premium flyers, and select credit card holders; one-day passes may be available through Lufthansa Hours: 9:00 AM - 12:00 AM

The Turkish Airlines Lounge in Terminal 1 is a classic airport lounge with comfortable seating, complementary food, and a full bar. Some food may be prepared by halal or kosher standards, but be sure to check with lounge staff if you have specific dietary requirements.

KAL (Korean Air) Lounge

​​Location: Across from Gate 3 Access: SkyTeam Elite Plus members, some Priority Pass members, eligible premium flyers, and select credit card holders Hours: 9:30 PM - 0:50 AM

The Korean Air Lounge is a popular choice, but has tight capacity limits. If you want to take in the runway views or enjoy the buffet, be sure to check the opening hours.

JFK Terminal 4 Lounges

Centurion Lounge 

​​Location: Level 4 Access: AmEx Platinum or Centurion credit cards Hours: 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Spread across two levels, the Centurion Lounge has top-tier amenities for select card holders. In addition to the children’s room and the speakeasy bar, you’ll have access to a full-service coffeehouse for a quick pick-me-up. For frequent flyers, it’s often the favorite of the JFK Terminal 4 lounges.

Air India Maharaja Lounge 

​​Location: Gate A5 Access: Priority Pass, DragonPass, LoungeKey, Diners Club, TAV Passport, eligible flyers, Star Alliance Gold status, and Maharaja Club members Hours: 10:30 AM - 8:00 PM

The Air Maharaja Lounge is casual, but with all the standard amenities, including drinks, reading material, and a relaxed atmosphere with no dress code. 

Emirates Lounge 

​​Location: Gate A6-A7 Access: Select flyers, and Emirates Skywards Gold and Platinum members. Day passes may be available. Hours: 24/7

The Emirates Lounge at JFK is one of the largest Emirates lounges in the country. With floor-to-ceiling windows, it’s a great place to watch planes across the apron. Reviewers have remarked that the buffet is worth a visit, too.

Chase Sapphire Lounge 

​​Location: Gate A2 Access: Select flyers, Priority Pass members, and select cardholders. Day passes may be available. Hours: 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM

The Chase Sapphire Lounge at JFK Terminal 4 is perfect if you need to get work done while in transit. In addition to the standard amenities, you’ll be able to enjoy local roasts from Joe Coffee, workspaces, and high-speed wi-fi. The lounge also has bookable showers if you would like to freshen up.

Delta Sky Club

​​Location: Gate B31 Access: Select flyers, select cardholders, and Delta Sky Club members Hours: 4:45 AM to 11:30 PM

The Delta Sky Club is generously proportioned, with plenty of space to relax. You’ll be able to get your favorite Starbucks coffee to go, as well as a wide range of food, charcuterie, and sweets. 

JFK Terminal 5 Lounges

BlueHouse

​​Location: Gate B31 Access: Mosaic 4 Members, select cardholders, and Transatlantic Mint Passengers. Day passes may be available. Hours: 5 AM - 10 PM

BlueHouse by JetBlue is the only lounge at JFK’s Terminal 5 that is currently open. The terminal primarily services JetBlue flights, and the lounge just opened in December 2025, so you’ll be treated to the state-of-the-art facilities. Please note that JetBlue passengers on Blue Basic fares may not be allowed to purchase a day pass to access the facilities. 

JFK Terminal 7 Lounges

Aer Lingus Lounge

​​Location: Gate 1 Access: Select flyers and AerClub silver members and above. Lounge access may also be purchased online when booking a flight with Aer Lingus. Hours: 12:45 PM - Last departure

Aer Lingus Lounge is the only lounge that JFK Terminal 7 has to offer. You’ll find everything you need for a quick break before your flight. Be sure to check availability while buying your ticket, as buying a lounge pass is only possible during the booking checkout.

JFK Terminal 8 Lounges

Chelsea Lounge

​​Location: Gate 14 Access: Select American Airlines and British Airways flyers and top status members on some flights Hours: 4:15 AM - 11:30 PM

The Chelsea Lounge is open daily, but admission can be exclusive. While the lounge is open to first-class flyers from American Airlines and British Airways, most lounge pass memberships are not accepted,

Soho Lounge

​​Location: Gate 14 Access: Select flyers and AerClub silver members and above. Lounge access may also be purchased online when booking a flight with Aer Lingus. Hours: 4:15 AM - 11:30 PM

The Soho Lounge is the mid-tier exclusive, and a very popular choice amongst JFK Terminal 8 lounges. While it’s not as exclusive as the Chelsea Lounge, it does cater to a broader demographic, and extends eligibility to a number of flyers based on status and memberships.

Greenwich Lounge

​​Location: Gate 12 Access: Select flyers, Oneworld Sapphire members, Admirals Club members, and certain Cathay Pacific elite status members. Hours: 4:15 AM - 1:15 AM

The Greenwich Lounge is open daily with a wide resting area overlooking the tarmac for excellent views while you wait. It’s open to the widest demographic based on flyer and membership status.

Admirals Club

​​Location: Gate 12 Access: Select flyers and Admirals Club members. Day passes may be available. Hours: 4:15 AM to 10:30 PM

Admirals Club caters to a wide range of flyers, with space for kids, extensive seating, and a full-service bar and all the standard amenities. For more information, check out our guide to JFK Admirals Club.

JFK New Terminal One Lounges

JFK’s newest passenger terminal is scheduled to begin opening in phases in 2026. While the full list of features and amenities has not been fully confirmed. However, the terminal will likely be home to a few key lounges.

Qatar Airways Lounge

When New Terminal One opens, Qatar Airways Lounge will likely be one of the first lounges to debut. It will be the Doha-based airline’s first lounge in the US. Early reports indicate that it will include VIP check-in, premium dining options, and seamless boarding for guests.

Korean Air Prestige Lounge 

The Korean Air Prestige Lounge in JFK New Terminal One is scheduled to open in 2026. The lounge was first announced in 2024, and is rumored to set a high bar for airside rest and relaxation. 

Other JFK New Terminal One Lounges

Turkish Airlines Lounge will likely also relocate to New Terminal One when it opens.
