
December 16, 2025, New York, United States — Blacklane, the global chauffeur service, today announced the appointment of Michael Black as New York region General Manager, reinforcing the company’s accelerated growth and presence in one of its most strategic US markets.
Black will lead Blacklane’s New York operations including building and managing the local team, ensuring the highest standard of service for guests, cultivating strategic partnerships, and driving business growth in the city.
He will report to Kasra Moshkani, the recently appointed Blacklane CEO Americas, and will play a crucial role expanding Blacklane’s business in the U.S.

Black brings extensive experience leading high-growth mobility and logistics operations with a focus on exceptional customer experiences. He worked at Uber as General Manager for the Uber Everywhere expansion team and later led Rides Operations for markets across the US & Canada region, including serving as Head of Premium Products. Most recently, he was President and General Manager at Clutter, a premium consumer storage and moving joint venture. Prior to that Michael held senior leadership roles at DoorDash, Veho and Alfred – driving business development, partnerships, product development, and strategic initiatives.
